EMMA HISTORIC HOTEL, Villabassa

Emma Historic Hotel offers rooms with wooden flooring, wooden furniture, a safe, a desk, a telephone and a satellite TV. Bathrooms include a toilet, shower, bidet, and hairdryer. Room options include the Junior Suite Emma, featuring a balcony; the Junior Suite Aloisia, furnished with unvarnished stone pine; and the Junior Family Suite Maria, which includes two double bedrooms with a connecting door and is located on the south side. The Junior Suite Sofia is located on the west side and has a balcony. The Josefine Junior Suite is furnished with antique furniture and decor, but it does not have a balcony. The Superior double room Rosa, faces west and has a balcony. Basic double rooms Emilia face east. Standard single rooms Martina face south and east.

The hotel restaurant is open from 19:00 to 21:00, offering South Tyrol specialities and Mediterranean dishes. A buffet breakfast is available. The pizzeria is open from 18:00 to 22:00, except on Thursdays. Dishes include the "1867 pot roast" of beef cooked in a dark red wine sauce, apple tart with white chocolate sauce and hazelnut ice cream, and cake. The hotel uses spices and flavors without microwaves or additives.

The hotel provides a Wellness Centre & Spa, including a Finnish sauna, infrared sauna, and Turkish bath. The Finnish & infrared sauna is open from 16:00 to 19:30. The Turkish bath combines heat and moisture.

Hotel Emma is in the center of Villabassa, 100 km from Bolzano. From the A22 Brennero motorway, take the Bressanone/Val Pusteria exit and follow signs to Brunico-Val Pusteria. After Brunico, continue for 20 km, passing Valdaora. From the Felbertauern tunnel, follow signs for Italy after Lienz, and then to San Candido and Dobbiaco. From Venice/Mestre, take the A27 motorway towards Belluno and continue to San Candido. The train stations Fortezza and San Candido have local trains to Villabassa. The hotel provides free pick-up from the Villabassa train station. Nearby landmarks include the Chiesa dell'Ospedale alla Santa trinita (0.5 km), Fremdenverkehrsmuseum Haus Wassermann (0.5 km), and Chiesa Santa Maddalena (1 km).
